Schipper studied with the top composers
Rautavaara and Fontyn.
He started his
four different music
studies:

composition,
§
orchestra- and choir
conducting,
§
piano and
§
singing
with respectively: Willem Frederik Bon, Maria Stroo and Heleen Verkley at the
Conservatory of Groningen, the Netherlands.
His teachers were regularly connected to
the Royal Concertgebouw
Orchestra in
Amsterdam as (resp.) conductor and composer and
as soloists.
Hereafter Schipper worked and studied (post
academic studies) in four European main cities of Europe. These studies
consisted of an in-depth investigation
of the classical and Romantic composers and composition techniques, and of
Eur-Asian and world music.
